EyeCheckup is an artificial intelligence based retinal scanning system. EyeCheckup uses artificial intelligence to help ophthalmologists screen patients with retinal conditions. In a single examination, it analyzes more than 20 retinal diseases, especially diabetic retinopathy, in a short time in accordance with internationally accepted standards, without the need for any expert opinion from fundus images and presents a PDF report. It automatically detects the presence of eye problems, as well as marks areas on the retina with possible pathologies.

EyeCheckup runs directly on the computer. To generate a report for diabetic retinopathy or other eye diseases, only 200 ms is sufficient for analysis after image acquisition. The software also detects images of poor quality and alerts the operator when necessary that re-images are required. Thus, invalid images can be recaptured within 5 seconds per image.

The EyeCheckup hybrid algorithm has been trained with 350,000 images and validated with 20,000 images for the detection of diabetic retinopathy.
A visit to an ophthalmologist is recommended if the findings are found to be a medical condition that could eventually lead to vision loss. If the disease is not detected, it is recommended to be screened again within 12 months.
The hybrid algorithm is designed to maximize sensitivity for directional DR (diabetic retinopathy), glaucoma, macular degeneration, vein occlusion and other signs of eye disease and specificity for any diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and other diseases. It automatically detects the presence of diseases. It also informs the patient by highlighting areas with possible pathologies in the retina.
A detailed PDF report is generated based on the completed analysis results. The report includes images with flagged abnormalities, a list of detected abnormalities, indicates the severity of abnormalities, lists possible diseases with ICD-10 codes.
The report has QR code for tracking, verification and feedback.
